DESCRIPTION

1.25%Cr/05% Mo Copper coated rod for GTAW welding of hot creep resistant steels with the same chemical composition. It is used in power generation plants (service temperatures up to 550°C), chemical and petrochemical industries where resistance to hydrogen attack, corrosion in the presence of sulphur-containing crude oil and stress corrosion cracking in acidic environments is required. Main applications are boiler, sheet and pipe steels and also for welding quenched and tempered steels. To be used with gas shielding EN ISO 14175-I1 (100% Ar).

DESCRIPTION

Copper coated welding rod for GTAW welding of atmospheric corrosion-resistant steels. The copper and nickel content allows for increasing atmospheric corrosion resistance in the weld bead. It can also be used for welding high-strength steels. Due to the elements present, it can also be used for steels with yield strengths up to 470MPa. To be used with gas shielding EN ISO14175-I1 (Ar 100%).
